Go all the way round (ignore the chest at the lower right) to the dog (1) and click on it. It will turn into Dazar Kruczor, a sort of beholder. I had Luci cast Protection twice, then Razor Sun; Herasia used Grokrl's Amulet (Poison Rain and melee had little damage); Almydion used Grokrl's Amulet. You may get either poisoned or "severely poisoned" (Venom), just ignore it and keep going. Almydion can cast Wave now and then.
After the battle, pick up the Indigo Pearl, the second of the four pearls you need to pick up. Exit and go all the way out- if you are struck with Venom, just keep going- either Luci or Almydion should have enough MP to heal as you go, and Zanbard will heal you completely. Save.
