You'll find Sami hidden behind this tree (1), speak to him and grab him. Go over to the chest at (2) to get 1116 GP. Speak to the Old Man at (3), and he will mention that he's looking for some Red Mushrooms. Exit at the top (4). Page down

Go up to the Old Man and speak to him. He will take and eat Red Mushroom you have, and turn into Agamanthar, a sort of mad Smurf.
Arts: I had Sarah cast Attack Up on all, then cast Love Me a couple of times and Attacked; Nash cast Mass Crush or Attacked; Grace either healed or Attacked.
Acrobatics: I had Sarah cast Attack Up and Defence Up a few times, then either Love Me or Attacked; Grace either healed or Attacked.
After the battle, Grace leaves (which is why we did the Carnivor Tree first), and you can click on the bush behind him (10) to get Fairy Pepper. That's it, go back to Sarah's house and to her room. To Page 1

Go up to the hidden chest at (5) to get Mithril x 3. Exit anywhere at the top. Page down

If you are Acrobatic, due to an oversight, Nash the Druk will not join you after he defeats you (see below), you just go straight to the "game over" screen. Now, I don't know if you gain XP by defeating Nash (which, combined with the Carnivor Tree, may level you up before the final battle with Agamanthar), but:
1. You don't need either him or his XP to defeat both the "bosses", they're not that difficult.
2. It's very difficult to beat Nash! Back to Page 2

Go up to (9), and you will now see what looks like a dragon in this area. In fact it's Nash the Druk, the same Nash you met in the caves, but he's also been promoted. Now, the object of this battle is to LOSE, so don't do anything but defend. When he wins, he'll join you.
Since Sarah is now down to 1 HP, go back to her house and rest by clicking on her bed (presumably Nash sleeps on the pillow).
So, the reason we didn't pick up the Old Woman before this fight is that it would have just made it longer to lose, and you have to go back to the right side of town anyway. To Page 2

This is Dezara's Grove! Speaking to her (6) and reading the book at (7) reveals that you'll have to go to an unusual place (e.g., an ancient elven cave) to find the Red Mushrooms that the Old Man's looking for.

Go along the hidden path to (8) and click to get the Book of Egidon.

Exit all the way back to the right side of the town, enter the right side of the shop and return Sami to the Young Lady. Then go back to the left side of the town and exit at the top left to the elf glade. To Page 4
