Walk down to (1) and click on a crack in the wall to get 763 GP. Go up to the market-seller's shop, and walk under the roof at (2) to get a Main Gauche (oddly, you will see Sarah's face in the pop-up). EQUIP Random with this now. While you're here, exit at (3) to get a couple of things in the cemetery. To Page 5
(from the cemetery, day)
Go into the shop at (4) to buy a few healing items. You're about to be given 20 free Tonic Teas at the school, but you should still buy a few Trouts for the MP. Go all the way up to the school (5), enter, and go up to the top floor and your training room (where you fought Thomas). To Page 3
(from your room, after Golem head quest)
As you exit your house, Thomas (6) appears from the alley to confront you. After some heated dialogue, Random bops him, and Thomas challenges Random to meet him in the cemetery after dark. He then disappears, and you can go up to the school and up to your training room. To Page 3
(from the training fight with Leona)
If you're in the habit of fighting every creature that attacks you, and if you don't have any healing items left, you may want to buy just a few now. Anyway, you'll see a guy (7) standing outside your house who turns out to be a postman. He's just delivered a package to your house, so enter and see what it is. To Page 1

Exit at (8) to get to the docks. To Page 14
(after promo)
Now, there are quite a few fights for you to do, which can take you up a few levels. You won't be able to buy any healing items, but you can rest at your house between each battle.
There are only three relevant areas after promo:

The armory. You can still buy weapons here, and you will also see Chaz standing
here. He refuses to join you now, but will a little later.
There are only two items here worth buying: Tyrine Shield for Random (not
really necessary) and Light Tyrine Shield for Wendie (essential). If you sold
the Sky Diamond earlier, then you should be able to buy the Light Tyrine Shield
now, if not, you're going to have to save up! If you do buy anything, I'd
advise you to go back to your house and save before going to the fighting
areas, as you'll probably get your teeth kicked in.
(10): The market-seller's shop now looks different, and this is one of the two battle spots. We'll call this "5 Doors".
(11): The garden
behind the school is now open to you, and this is the other battle spot.
