Save at the paper (1), then exit this area at end of the top right corridor (2).

Before you go anywhere, first EQUIP the Tyrine sword, armour, and helmet (if you don't already have these on). You don't have a Tyrine shield, but the other sword you're carrying will be taken away from you before the first battle, so you may as well de-equip it now (i.e., you will have to fight with just one sword and no shield). EQUIP the Self-Will Belt now- your duel is with Chaz, and he can Berserk you.
Since the Metallist is no longer equipped, use Quadra Strike, it has a simliar effect. Chaz has a good attack, but shouldn't last more than two rounds. After the fight, you can see that you now have another Tyrine sword in your inventory, but were unable to equip it before battle (huh). Anyway, don't bother equipping it, as this was the last fight for you before promo. Exit at the top to save, and you will see Guanidia wandering about. Speak to him, and time will move forward to the next fight, between Leona and Mike. Leona wins, and you then move into a cut scene in the foyer where you discuss the semi-finals with Leona. Thomas (to himself) is horribly smug about it, knowing that he has a powerful- but illegal- weapon. Roman then calls you all back to the arena for the first semi-final, between Leona and Thomas.
The battle goes on for a while, and Leona is evidently winning, but then Thomas manages to scratch her with The Nebulae. This sends Leona into paroxysms of pain, and the fight is called to a sudden halt. Thomas is confronted, and admits that his sword is not a standard Tyrine sword. Leona is then taken away to be treated at the hospital. Page down
| You next find yourself standing at Leona's grave. Random says a few words and leaves. You then go into the promotion screen and find yourself back in your house. To Page 1 |  |
